Brilliant, magical. Vivid soundscapes and feelings. Perfection! But, I have to admit, listening and taking a christian metal album into my collection is not something that I would normally do. Nonetheless, the music won me over, so I ignored everything else. Within Thy Wounds crafted here a transcendental, emotional atmosphere. Nothing can beat this.

Explorer les archives d'un groupe, c'est souvent intéressant quand on en est fan et qu'on veut en apprendre plus sur son processus créatif et on accepte naturellement que ces pistes soient moins bonnes. Les Orphelines, compilation du one-woman band français Ardente, va à l'encontre de cette règle. Si on y trouve essentiellement des titres instrumentaux, ils sont vecteurs d'émotions très fortes. Au programme : du black metal atmosphérique médiéval, colérique et épique. Excellent de bout en bout !
